Clay jewelry is durable, but not indestructible. It is normal for cured clay to bend quite freely, but will break if pushed too far. Clay also can be scratched, so be gentle when removing and storing your jewelry (in a clean, dry place). Avoid getting your jewelry wet. It can be cleaned with a tissue or any soft cloth. 

Earring posts are all nickel free. They are brass and iron or stainless steel. If your metals begin to tarnish, they can be cleaned with tarnish cloths (or toothpaste!)
